As Heard on The Bob Walker Morning Show

               86,000 Dollars

Imagine that you had won the following prize in  a contest:

Each morning your bank would deposit 86,000 dollars in your private

account for your use.  HOwever this prize had rules just as any

               game has certain rules.

The first set of rules would be: Everything that you don't spend

during each day would be taken away from you.

You may not simply transfer money into some other account YOu

               may only spend it.

Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with

               another $86,000 for that day.

The second set of rules:  The bank can end the game without

warning; at any time it can say, It's over. It can close the

account and you will not receive a new one.

               What would you personally do?

You would buy anything and everything you wanted, right?

Not only for yourself, but for all the people you love right?

Even for people you don't know, because you couldn't possibly

spend it all on yourself, right?

You would try to spend every cent, and use it all, right?

               ACTUALLY, This GAME is REALITY!

EAch of us is in possesion of such a magical bank. We just

               can't seem to see it.

               The MAGICAL BANK is TIME!

EAch morning we awaken to receive 86,000 seconds as a gift

of life, and when we go to sleep at night, any remaining

time is not credited to us.

What we haven't lived up that day is forever lost.

               Yesterday is forever gone

Each morning the account is refilled , but the bank can

dissolve your account at anytime... WITHOUT WARNING>

SO what will YOU do with your 86,000 seconds?

Aren't they worth so much more than the same amount of

               dollars?

(How much would you pay to spend even seconds with a

               departed loved one?)

Think about that, and always think of this:

Enyoy every second of your life, because time races

by so much quicker than you think

So take care of yourself, and enjoy life!

Here's wishing you a wonderfully, beautiful day!!!

A CHILD AND HER DOG

This is one of the kindest things you may ever see.

It is not known who replied, but there is a beautiful soul working in the dead letter office

at the US Post Office.

Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Megan

was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey.. She asked if we could write a letter

so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she

dictated these words.

Dear God,

Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very

much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick.

I hope you will play with her. She likes to play with balls and to swim. I am sending a picture of her so

when you see her You will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.

Love Meredith

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/heaven

We put our return address on it. Then meredith pased several stamps on the front of the envelope

because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she

dropped it into the letter box at the post office.

A few days later, she asked if God had gotton the letter yet. I told her that I thought He had

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed

"TO Meredith" In an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr.

Rogers called "When A Pet Dies"..Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had

written to God in its opened envelope. ON the opposite page was the picture of Abbey and

Meredith and this note:

Dear Meridith,

Abbey arrived safely in heaven.

Having the picture was a big help. I recognized Abbey right away.

Abbey isn't sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being

your dog. Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to keep your picture in

I am sending it back to you in the little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.

Thank you for your beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you write it and sending it to me

What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you

I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much.

By the way, I'm easy to find, I am wherever there is love.

Love,

God
